Saw it today. Tom was good as always, but this was a movie that I felt like what was the point in even making it.

He was a precious cinnamon bun. I think the point of the movie was that power corrupts and so does greed and desire. They were all so convinced that this rock contained magical powers that would save the world. Only Diarmond could actually handle the rock

Yeah, I get that. But for me when a movie is about a journey like this and they don't reach their destination in the end. I just feel empty and not satisfied with the ending. That is more why I feel like "why was the point with it".

But I agree. He was precious in it.

I dislike open-ended movies too,but in this case, I do get why they did it. Personally, I thought it was bleak. I think that after Peter Parker, Diarmuld is my favorite character of his.

I adore this character. He's just so sweet, so pure and so lovable. My headcanon is that Diarmuld was Peter in a past life. Jack Fawcett was barely in The Lost City of Z.
