Brie's Causes { LGBT+ | Women's Rights} #1: Always fighting the good fight.
Lgbt & women's rights
Brie's causes thread. |
I couldn't decide on what to call it. If anyone has a better idea, let me know
|
I like it this way, perfect :yay:
Thanks for the new thread! |
Great thread idea!
Glad that Brie's outspoken about these issues. |
TFTNT! Em

as a guy, i have absolutely no idea what it feels like to be denied a goal, position, promotion, pay, because of my gender, but i am empathetic/sympathetic to my core, and angry at the injustice caused by thousands of years of ingrained ignorance, arrogance, and stupidity.
i support Brie and others, at speaking out, taking a stand, and bringing about change in our societies and world. bravo! |
It's great
|
Do wr have interviews/videos of her speaking out?
|
|
i have always been annoyed by the same stogy, biased, and overly technical/critical reviewers over the years, and wished there were newer, younger, less cynical/jaded/judgemental reviewers in the film press, more women, more diversity in viewpoints and other perspectives of looking at theme and film. i understood Brie perfectly when i first read her piece back in 2018, and yes, we need a changing of the guard in how films are presented, reviewed, critiqued, rated, and new voices added to the review table.
|
I agree

Dp

I agree, Dave!
Thanks for the thread. It is a great idea. :sigh: |
Yes it is

I love discussing social issues, but I’m not interested in scare tactics. I believe there is a way to bring awareness in tandem with forgiveness and love.
I love this quote from her. I might try throwing together an OP |
