Eliott running in slow motion down a beach, but makes me go awww and haha for some reasons. All those Baywatch episodes I guess. I mean I know it would be Bali, but doesn't France have some lovely beaches?

The North Sea isn't the greatest imo. I haven't been to the beach a lot in France, more like havens.

It's just in old books, you hear about characters being told to go to warmer climates like the South of France and Spain for their health.

Warmer climates, yes. But that says nothing about the beaches. Spanish beaches are beautiful though.

Never been to Europe, only what I have seen in photos and the movies. It does look lovely, though some of the winter looks more brutal.

Climate change. Our winters now are really sad. I remember the times where we had a white christmas, now it can be freezing one day (barely) and 15 degrees the next.

Ah, where I'm from, it's usually cold, but mostly rain and wind storms in the winter. But our weather has been altered a great deal by climate change too. Just in March it had been in the fifties and then a sudden drop and we got a day of snow. When we barely get snow in Dec-Feb.

I have heard that heat waves have been hitting Europe a lot more badly of late since some countries weather doesn't usually warrant a heat wave. That it puts a lot of people in danger of heat stroke, heat exhaustion, and dehydration.

Oh yeah, my country, Belgium, has it really bad with the heatwaves. We get them a couple of times a year now, for a couple of days to a week where the temperates are high and stay high during the night so it can get really dangerous for elder people, animals, children, etc.

I always wanted to see Belgium, mainly because I grew up watching and reading Poirot stories.

I see Eliott wanting to go out and look for shooting stars. And Lucas is all bundled up and shivering. Where Eliott comes over and wraps his arms around Lucas to keep him warm.
