SKAM - Alt er love ♥

Hey everyone,

It pains me to have to write this but I do think it's for the best. SKAM has been my safe haven for years but the last couple of months, the toxicness of the fandom has really gotten to me which made me want to be a part of it all a lot less and think about my own mental health first. I haven't seen a lot of the last seasons, nor do I feel a need to watch the new seasons so for me it feels like time to step down and let someone who is passionate take over.

I will always love SKAM, the characters and what it represents but I need to distance myself from it all for my own mental health. I knew when Rora stepped down it would be hard to continue this board myself, but it has truly been weighing down on me and that's not a feeling I ever want to have about SKAM. I truly hope we can find another moderator who wants to continue with this board, knowing how hard we fought for it.

I def understand what you're feeling and I know how hard it must been to come up with this decision but also mod it by yourself. The fandom itself has become very toxic and no matter how amazing and not toxic this board is, it's hard to be motivated to post.

I had a feeling this might be coming as I know you have been struggling with the fandom for awhile

It's always so sad when something that is meant to bring you joy starts to bring stress instead. I'm glad you're doing what's best for you! You've done great with the board

aww this is sad. I don't know anything about the fandom outside of this board but it's shame it has taken your enjoyment out of the show
