He totally will the guy is too messed up, literally she is the only girl who'd accept his murderous side (not that it's good, but that he's insanely lucky she turned out that way) and yet Joe still wants a "perfect" vulnerable girl to fix not someone like him. I don't expect happy stories here, just a wild ride. Many serial killers would be thrilled to have a romantic partner who they don't have to hide their mudery ways from, it shows what a huge hypocrite and how unstable Joe is.

It's so much fun to watch though.

Maybe Joe's logic is how can he try to be good if Love is not good. That's she's as messed up as she is and what will their daughter's future will be if both happen to get caught
