Well, I dont think we'd ever go back to that stage where getting 15 posts a day was the goal. I dont think I was around at that time...

Okay, I had this silly idea that Friday was the first

I know, there have been 30 days in September since I was born

I have as about 290 posts since around midnight (Mod time

) on the 24th this is based on Jen's posting our post number at 7:30PM, which means all the posts done after that haven't been counted...I actually think we'd be able to inflate that number by about 20-30 posts.

Approximate post count is 1770 for the month...might be off a bit but might not. (maybe 1800)

We're safe anyways as long as the board doesn't go without posts for 48 hours!

It was before I was a mod, I know that. If it were to happen then an immediate post count is done, you and I are notified and we have to reach a certain amount of posts in a certain period of time. I can't recall the specifics.

That and I think we'd be on a warning for about 6 months and if we had that happen again it means immediate closure... that's what I remember...

Question is, do you think we're at a danger of this happening?

That sounds about right.

Given our post count I say no. I can't remember the last time I didn't post here even once a day, aside from being on holiday so unless something major happened to me...I guess we could try and have some mailing list to hand of people who usually stop by, but usually if someone hasn't come by it's cuz they have a reason, not sure if it'd be effective.

Hm, I'd say besides the occasional venture into different fandoms *cough*V*cough*, the usual posters are mostly here unless they have a major reason not to be on

at all (in which case they're generally not online in general)... but the mailing list might not be a bad idea, even just for being able to keep in touch outside

if necessary...

Not sure I have anyone's email besides yours, though...

i think it's rare for me to never post for an entire day...especially if i haven't said anything before hand. so i don't think we're in jeopardy of not having any posts for 48 hours...especially not with the way things have been going - all the james news ect. has given us lots to talk about

when the board was doing bad a few years ago (or whenever that was), there was barely any james news. we can only talk about the same things so much
