Um, not that I'd know of Unless you do the counts yourself (i.e note how many posts you have at the end of the day & then do the same the next day & do the maths

Kimberly, as far as I know it's only your complete average count since you joined. It'd be too much work for the board to generate me thinks. Given it usually takes us a week to get the board counts. I think the only way to do it is what Jen suggested.

I'm begining to worry about this board without you posting everyday karen i feel like we don't have enough regular posters. everyone seems to be slowly disappearing we made it through the hardest part in James' carreer, and now that it's finally picking up there's not a lot of people left. who posts here everyday now? Bea, Cris, Deb, Taubman, Maddie and others pop in and out, some more than others. Brit went MIA ever since she stepped down from mod. Mich was back for awhile but is also MIA now. It's been me, Karen, Jen, V, and ??? who post daily.

Kimberly: I know what you mean, without Karen's contribution, it'll not be as easy to keep up the post counts. Sad as it sounds, with as few regular posters, every one of us makes a difference. And until James does something really mainstream, we are not likely to get more regular posters
Hopefully, James will give us all enough to talk about (and Karen won't get completely dragged away by Tom ) in the next while.

I'm not abandoning ship completely - I just probably won't post with as much gusto and maybe it wil be everyday, maybe not. The board was a huge priority for me for so long that it started to feel like "I need to post" rather than "I want to post" and that's taken the fun out of it for me. We've all worked so hard over the years to keep this board and I'd like to think we can still maintain it - but James just isn't as much of a priority anymore, my interests have shifted - when a new photo is posted of him and I am not moved or motivated to comment - it says a lot. I always tried to come up with new things for the board to increase posting - funny quotes thread, movie nights, creative challenges, the odd survivor - some worked well and others had only me and one or two other posters. Maybe a new mod would be able to bring freshness to the place.


I hope the board doesn't go, but as you say Kimberly - unless James does something mainstream to bring in new fans it may be a struggle. I just feel, after 8 years in the fandom, my time may be up.


Post count for the last week is 220 - averaging 31.42 posts per day. Still very respectable.
Put the November total for the first 2 weeks at 495 - we've passed the minimum we need for the month but we should definately still aim for a big count.

Im worried about the same thing as Kimberly. There have been times when only Karen and I would post on all the threads. And though I hate myself for not getting here, there are times when I just cant get myself to.

But I really really dont want this board to go. This board has made it through slower phases of James' career, it'll be a shame if it goes now, when we're finally getting to see him quite a lot.
