James Van Der Beek - The Plague

**Well, since I was asked to post here...I shall copy and paste pretty much everything I wrote before on Media-Blvd.com >_>**

I'm a "featured extra" in this movie (been in about 15 scenes + a close-up), and I was able to meet James and the cast. It was really awesome ^_^ James was pretty quiet and very focused. Waved to us a few times, but that was about it ^^; Oh, I believe he took pictures of us lying in our Hospital Beds (in a school Gym) on his phone, but I'm not 100% sure.

Ivana is sooo nice as well. When they were setting up and we were filming a scene in a school Gym, she would walk down the rows of the Hospital Beds and she asked everyone they're Zodiac sign. Since I was there quiet often, she would often stop and talk for a bit, which was really nice.

Brad (Hunt) is also an AWESOME guy. He jokes around very often and has a really positive attitude. ^_^

Unfortunately, the only picture I have is with Ivana and I. James wasn't in the mood for pictures >.>

Supposibly the convulsion scene was pretty freaky, according to the cast + crew XD I believe James was there to watch it being filmed, but I don't know if he stayed in the Gym or not. Although I believe he took pictures of us on his phone (or he was doing *something* with his phone...). We're laying in the Hospital Beds in the school Gym (the schools in the town had been made into Hospitals for us coma kids) while we're strapped down XD My hands and feet got a close-up being strapped down as well but it sucks because I find feet disgusting XD

One of my good friends that I met there (I'm not sure if he'd want his name said or not ^^; ) was another "featured extra" as well. In a Hostpital Bed/Gym scene, Ivana does something with the IV, and whipes boogers off his nose XD I'm in the bed beside him. He's also the first male coma kid to wake up and I believe I'm the first female coma kid they show waking up (according to one of the Producers I know)...so yeah. It's funny how you meet so many people doing one movie, and they become some of your good friends ^_^ His brother rocks my socks too. He's clearly seen in the scene where the security gaurd gets taken away by us down the hallway. He catches the security gaurd as well as his brother (the other guy I was talking about) ^_^

Yes, but briefly. I was coming out of one of the make-up trailors, and it was an extremely windy day. I tried shutting the door behind me and I wasn't sure if it was closed or not, and he was the only one standing right there...so I asked him if it was closed, he said, "Yeah, should be." Then I said, "Thanks~" and ran off. I'd walk past him a few times nod and and he'd nod back, but that was about it.

The movie should be released probably sometime in 2006 (I have no idea what month or anything). I'm not sure if they're just finishing in here in Winnipeg or the entire thing, but the Warbrobe and Make-up ladies said it was their last week...that's all I know ^^;

Hopefully you guys go see it. It seems pretty creepy just being in it! If you want anymore details, I can tell you what I know if it seems okay to be said~

Just a couple of questions. I don't know if you might know the answers, but just in case

How much longer will it take the filming part?
Can you tell us on how many scenes have you seen James in and what happened in them (not big details not to spoil the movie to anyone, but I'm curious

)

I guess it must be exciting to be an extra in a movie. Is your first time?
