Message Board Closure Notice
Hi everyone. This announcement is to inform you that this message board will be closed and moved into the Closed Forums category on July 15, due to a lack of sustained traffic. We had established a minimum daily post count requirement of 15 posts per board per day, and unfortunately, this board did not meet that minimum requirement twice in the last six months, so the Management Team and I have made this difficult decision. We encourage you to start discussion topics about James Van Der Beek on the Celebrities Forum here at Fan Forum after this board has closed, so you can continue to discuss James and his career here. We regret the necessity of having to do this, but we want Fan Forum to be a website with message boards that are busy and thriving, so we can add more boards and build for the future. How can we keep this board alive!!! this board has been great for us over the years and get better responses than the DC board!!! Hope we can keep in touch with all the james posters?? If this does close I like to say the following I've been a James Fan Since the start of DC in 98 and have followed and posted on this board and the DC board since 2001! Have made sooo many friends over the years especially from this board and Have to say the real DJ fans live here!! As well J/K Fans it has been amazing and shattered as this board has gone!!! If there is anything we can do to keep this board alive I will help. It won't be the same james not having is own board! __________________

 So sad we didn't manage to keep our board alive, I really tried to post as much as I could but unfortunately real life got in the way Hopefully we'll open a thread at the Celebrities board so that we keep in touch   Dora __________________

Not the homecoming I was hoping for....
 I'm so sorry that the board has to close. It has been home to so many of us over the years. I will continue as a daily poster on any James thread at fan forum. I hope you all will join me so we can continue to share our delight over this amazing actor and his beautiful family. I'm not ready for this to end...and neither is James. His career is going again and we will have many more great things to discuss in the future. I'm so sad that we didn't last longer but I think it says a lot about the fans that the James board was here long after the Katie and Michelle boards were closed. Question: should all of us move to the celebrity board or the Dawson's creek board? Where would everyone prefer? All of us over at DC would help them out with post counts but maybe we'd get more people dropping by and finding us on the celebrity board. Thoughts? On the DC board we'd get probably three threads to organize our posts on compared to one. A James thread, Dawson thread, and d/Jo thread. __________________
