I remember that game. Oliver Neuville scored the 1-0 in the very last minute. Boruc did incredibly well that night.

Brit, if you're lurking - - Hope your 18th was great!

How was everyone's weekend - I can't see grass in our backyard, there is SO much water running through it. There's rain and then there's RAIN.

Rain took place in my weekend too. It started right after we had our car finally washed
Although I had a great time with my friends (we went to an aussie restaurant, Deb ), Daniel was on call and he had to work. At least, he worked from home, but he couldn't enjoy his weekend. 1:30 pm and people were calling him. Well, you do what you have to, right?

Oh, Brit

Aw, happy 18th Brit! I'll have a virtual cocktail in your honor.

Saturday was wonderful. I lay outside for like an hour and go colour, so great and then went to do the same yesterday and well, it was cold and then started to rain, not impressed.

Happy late 18th Brit *tries to think when she turned 18......gives up *

Anyway, just wanted to ask if any of you have already seen or are planning to see the Sex and the City movie...my bf and I are going on Friday so was just wondering if anyone else has any thoughts on it...

Back trying to work with someone drilling on our house (my parents are having a new door installed so a wall has to be drilled out...to my great enjoyment )

Brit just wanted to everyone know that she misses us all, is very busy, had a great birthday and will hopefully pop in soon.

Cris, that sounds like a tough weekend for poor Daniel but Aussie food will get you through anything

Yay for Karen's colour! Seems we've all had rain.

I wasn't planning on seeing that movie Dora - I've never seen the series but I'd like to know if the movie is worth catching. Hope the drilling ceases soon.

I'm thinking about watching the movie, Dora. I catched some Sex and the City episodes here and there and liked some. I just don't know if it has been released here yet. Still need to watch Maid of Honor.

Deb, you're right. Aussie food is a blessing.

Glad to know Brit had a great birthday

Debit did a few hours ago but now we have a large hole in the kitchen, covered by plastic...makes me happy I live downstairs The door should be arriving tomorrow...or so my dad said...

Glad to hear Brit had a great birthday

Cris I also haven't seen every single episode but quite a few, especially the last season so was really excited to hear about the movie...

Will then let you girls know what I think of it after I've seen it...

Slowly off to my irish dancing class...

I haven't seen much of Sex and the City. i think I saw the episode Jon Bon Jovi was in and i saw a couple of the episodes when Carrie dated Aidan but that's it.

Speaking of Bon Jovi - I go to see them for the 5th time on the 21st. And my tickets still aren't here yet. Not being impressed.

As an aside, "Feels like home" is playing on my PC right now.

Glad Brit had a great birthday. I miss Brit.

Cris, i still need to see Made of Honor, but given the fact I wanted to see 27 dresses and never got to it, I don't hold out much hope. I also wanna see the new Indy movie.

Dora, I didn't know you did Irish dancing. I used to go when i was like 13. What can i say, i really liked a guy that went...and I'm sure you all won't be surprised to hear that he is now gay. Ah, if only i knew then, wouldn't have wasted my time

I do, since October or so...it's just great fun and you also get to be in a group and it's just much more pleasant since I love everything Irish...I do not follow that fast, especially with those right and left legs and ladies and gents but it's cool as it's totally relaxed so you can repeat the same class several times and practice more...(which is something that I do )

Here there are hardly any men so I guess you were lucky there even was a guy In my current class it's just girls, even all teachers are women...neither my bf nor my dad want to do it either...

It's really cool though as often parties are organized with live music plus we are taking a one week trip to Ireland together this summer (I am staying one week longer so that I can travel around a bit with my bf...) so that's really more the point as I know I am not performance material

PODOLSKIIIIIIIIIII!

What a game the guy did. Why he's only second choice in Munich I'll never know. Bring on Croatia!

I feel bad for Switzerland, especially Alex Frei. Getting injured right at the beginning of the tournament in your own country - that sucks bad.

Hi Bea.

Nora, i take it you are happy. I'm feeling sorry for Boruc. Did you watch the France/Romania game. I think Romania shoudl have won. But I was so bored to tears I fell asleep.

*really should check out some of the games*

Nora: Yay, cool, you won! Not that I'd have anything against Poland... I'd just like them a lot more if there wasn't sooo many of them over here

Hi everyone!

Bea: I take it you won't like me much if I mention that even Ireland's getting sun these days (OK, except for the weekend)... I'm sure you'll get your heatwave eventually, though Just don't come complaining then...

Dora: When's your Ireland trip again? And where else (except this neck of the woods) are you going?

Karen: Aw, I want to see Bon Jovi, too! My friend just went to the show in Dublin and she was literally beaming when I asked about the concert. Apparently, it was fantastic. Btw, do you miss the league game as much as I do?

Blah, this week's going to be a pain... I'm broke, it's warm (and it's too far to the beach without a car), there's nothing to do and my daily Home and Away fix has been taken over by the Euro2008 No good.

How's everyone else?

I'll be in Ireland between July 5th and 17th. The first week it's with the Irish dancing group. We have rented two holiday houses near Bantry, I think it's in West Cork. We'll make plans each day as we'll be renting cars and some people will be driving them to various sights that we'll decide upon...

And then on July 12th Greg arrives and we'll be cycling around the country. We know of the starting point and the ending point, but haven't decided on where to go yet (apart from your parts)...we then fly back from Dublin...

Sorry about your situation though Hope it improves soon...how's Anna doing?

Beawe've also had this rainy weather for the past 4,5 days...it's totally annoying...especially since it keeps changing all the time, one moment it's sunny, the next one it's a huge thunderstorm...

Nora, Karen Sorry, nothing to contribute in the footie department as I am not watching it...glad you guys are enjoying it though...

I am just watching Fools rush in on TV for the zillionth time...feels good to just watch such a relaxing movie after a long day...
