Jen, thats almost the same code I was using. I changed my layout again. Now the side bar option is showing. But my frineds page still has the previous layout, the new one is not reflecting, and the header is still shifting downwards, and gets hidden by the entries. LJ is crack.

V: it's not shifting the header down for me

my header is very very random... the thing is, you can't set the exact height if you're setting the header as a background pic because it counts from the top of the page and a part will be hidden by the navigation strip (top bit on the page with the "Home" link). So you kind of need to add a few pixels...
Plus while the coding says it accepts "center" as a positioning option, it doesn't really.
Are you using Firefox or IE?

How do you customize your friends page? As in doesnt it have the same layout as your journal or are their ways to customize it differently?

Cuz rght now, my journal has a different layout than my friends page *headesk* And the header on my journal page isnt shifting downwards, just the one on the Friends page. Ugh.

oh and im using IE.

The Friends page is supposed to be the same as your journal, except you can add a title for it (top of "Customize Jounal Style" options).

*headwall* this is being weird. Did you try refresh?

I'm using Firefox, so obviously it's not a browser issue.
