I would kindly ask all of you for prayers for my bf, who lost his job over New Year and then had another one promised as "100%" right before the holidays and then rang the lady this morning. "Sorry, we won't be needing you anymore".

He is a fighter by nature so I am positive he'll find something else, but it's still nasty all the same. He was really excited about this new job and then such an unexpected cold shower __________________

Oh man, Jen, I still have that small booklet into which I used to write quotations of his, which includes this one as well
 I also like to think that when a door closes, that's because a window can open instead He was quite upset at first but I think he's being a good sport about it. He's decided to see this as an opportunity to finally finish his MA thesis and be on the lookout for something else instead.And yes, I heard of that name, at first I thought Kian was talking about a koala Then I realised it was about their baby I honestly cannot fathom why celebrities give such out-of-the-world names to their children, don't they realise that they'll be subject to ridicule? I'll never understand giving kids names that don't fit into the environment. I mean, I get it, it's a Hawaiian name, it has a great meaning... but the kid's gonna grow up here & in London possibly (though seeing as he was born here, I'm thinking they're planning to settle here). Why go with a name that's bound to cause confusion?
