| Favorite James Interview?
I was going through some random old tapes last night(not labeled), trying to figure out whether or not I could tape over them or not and came across a couple of full tapes with just James/Dawson's Creek interviews...I forgot I even had them. Anyway, I started watching them and came across his "Graham Norton" interview when he was promoting ROA. It is SOOOOO funny. It was such a great interview. There were also a few early ones, from Season 2/3 when he was on Regis and Rosie. Good LORD he looked good with longer hair and the beard-thing going on. I thought he was adorable with short hair(Season 5), but I must admit that the longer(Season 2/3) hair, with the light beard looked just as hot. Sort of "boyish" but also mature with the 5 o'clock shadow.
And he just seems so "real" and unassuming in these interviews....quiet, soft-spoken..just as I imagine he is in real-life. I also noticed in one interview(Regis, I think), when Regis mentions his girlfriend(Heather), he gets sort of uncomfortable talking about it...a very "James"-like reaction from what I've heard about him...very private with his private life, which I always found so endearing.
Also--and this is in NO WAY to bash Josh(because I happen to like Josh too), but I have some Josh interviews also and he just seems so 180 degrees different than James...so much more "show-offy" and outspoken.(I guess that is why they were both cast in the first place...they wanted to male-leads that were totally different in personality)
And in "group" interviews with the cast, it just seems like Josh talks the most and sort of "takes over" the interview. Like on TRL(cast) or Donnie and Marie...the rest of the cast(Michelle, James and Katie) seem to be much more quiet and just sort of stand-back.
Anyway..I was just curious as to your favorite James tv interview? I don't have them all on tape, so I will be curious to see if any are mentioned that I havent seen. |
