For next season, I just want Michael to not be in any relationship so he can start to heal. Because how it is right now, he isn't in the right headspace now to be in any. I just need to see him to start heal from all the wounds he has.

See that's how I feel too, this feels like a ban-aid for a bullet wound. I think he's like Isobel right now, they have both been through a horrible ordeal recently. I don't think either need romance, they need friends, support, and help.

Perhaps they could have more of Isobel and Michael leaning on each other and healing together in the next season. Just focusing on getting better and ignoring everything else.
