No idea or memory if it had been answered in OG and don't recall much of anything of the books cause was like 13 when I first started 2nd season live [watched 1st summer before 2nd season] -- so was like 15 around time of really into OG

That's going back like 15-16 years

In the original, Michael was just Max's best friend. He had no relation and became a noble because he was given the title. As general,he rose up. He and Isabel were engaged, but I don't see how she loved him if she cheated with two men.

I'd like for them to be cousins on this show,though.

I do feel like ours if allowed to develop will probably have them royalty

I got that feel from Noah at beginning of episode - like from his voice over

They were in the original, so it wouldn't surprise me. It's like on Runaways where they found out that one character's alien dad was a "Magistrate", which meant he was royalty somehow. No character knew before and an outside character told them everything.
