I think they will. They're both mature adults and Max is somehow coping with the fact that at the moment, she seems to have chosen Kyle. Kyle knows Max is capable of being a good person and they both care about Liz either way. Alien or not, Max saved Liz and that little boy. He saved every sick person in the hospital. Granted,the blackout was his fault,but he took a huge risk because of what Kyle said.

I think Kyle sees the good in Max even if Liz is not.sure herself - so want to see boys become friends

That gives me so many feels. They always had tension in the original and I always felt like Max felt superior to him. This Kyle is observant and gets people. he always knows what to say to make them feel better. He can't hate Max,even if they like the same girl. He's a good guy and he only kept the secret from Liz because I mean,it's his sister. She would have covered things up for Rosa,too. They're both good men with firm moral convictions. I like her better with Kyle,but it's still by a slim margin. It's impossible not to like decent guys who aren't into that toxic masculinity culture like Alex's dad.
