Hi everyone ,

The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of (re)customising message boards and now it's your turn!

If you have any picture or colour suggestions please post them in this thread. Don't post (hotlink) the pictures, links to them are fine. Make sure that the pictures are of as high quality as possible and that the top of the head of the person in the picture isn't cropped off. We also like to use photoshoot images when possible, preferably individual pictures of each cast member. When suggesting colours please keep in mind that some colours will work better than others. The Team usually tries to avoid really vibrant and dark colours because we have found in the past that they are hard to look at for long periods of time. If you would like some help coming up with colour combinations we recommend checking out the design seeds website. As we want every board to have their own unique look it is preferable that you do not link to the customisations of other boards as suggested colour schemes.

Everyone is encouraged to voice their opinions for this as you are the ones who will be posting on the board and we hope to make as many people happy with the finished result as possible. It does not matter if you are a board moderator, regular poster, or casual poster here. If you have a suggestion, please share it here with us .

Your suggestions for possible pictures and colours will be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customised look possible the final decision concerning how this board will be customised will be made by the members of the Graphics Team. This is because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colours fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

For a full explanation of the message board customisation process, see this thread. If you have any questions, please feel free to send Mel, Chelle, or Rora a PM or ask the Team on the message board customisation thread.

Please leave this topped until a week or so after the board has been (re)customised.

Note: It usually takes approximately two weeks for us to finish making the new banner and the sooner we know what you want, the more we can work on it (though it can take a few months or so to set it up with the new colours on the board), so please let us know your suggestions as soon as possible.

When the Team have finished making the graphic I will close this thread until the graphic and colours get put up. It will then be re-opened so that you can share your thoughts about it.

OMG! I'm so exicited.

I already written something up with what my wishes are for the board.

So I will just go ahead and post it.

I have been thinking about the Customization since the board was open.

And I would love to have some colors that reminds us of the desert but at the same time some colors that reminds us of the galaxy. (Maybe for the background in the banner can be something galaxy like). Not sure if that is possible though.

Maybe with colors like these (using at least one or two of the colors in here):

The characters:
Isobel Michael Max Liz Alex Maria Kyle Noah Jesse

Narrative wise, Liz and Max are the mains in the show. Both as individuals and as a couple. Within the fandom (both on here and other sites) Michael and Alex has become the popular ones. So I like to see these four in front, and maybe have them in order like this: Alex, Michael, Max, Liz. And then the other three (Isobel, Kyle & Maria) beside either Alex or Liz (or both).

With Noah and Jesse I feel like they are not really needed in the banner, but if they are on the banner I can see them being at the very back of the banner.

I think it will work either way with the order with the last three (Isobel, Kyle and Maria) but maybe have Isobel on Liz other side?

Hoping to see more of our posters to give some ideas too.

Would it work with Isobel between Max & Michael so long as she's smaller & behind them? Sorry I was just thinking of placement ideas & would presume the three aliens have importance together. I only know the original though

. I do know the main & popular ships of this show though so completely get them being biggest

These questions of course only relate to my own graphic placement idea. No idea what anyone else on the team would do. Just wanted to check before doing it

Yeah, she is also important in the way you said it. So I can see her in the middle between Michael and Max and I trust you that what you think will look the best for your banner will be good.

Is there a different picture of Max where he's facing the other way? If not I can still make it work, he just look awkward to me

Anyone else have any thoughts?

The only photos I have seen is the ones I posted. So I don't think there is anymore pictures with Max.

And I agree he looks a bit awkward.

Big mood with me (and Rora) for SKAM, however we mostly feel panic.

colourwise (I haven't opened the links yet), I don't think it's too hard to do a galaxy in the background. As for the desert, it could be a light brown/yellowish base colour and then the galaxy colours are actual background and focus colours? That's what I'm thinking, not sure how you all feel about that.

But it must be very hard to chose something for the banner seeing how many remakes it is now of the show.

That color scheme is

very desert like and hopefully something galaxy like especially if the banner indeed can be made off the first linked promo set

Think with how Jesse's in the second season outline that he should be included

Noah is "dead" and no idea if they can work bringing him back - so would say no to him though

I don't think that is really needed to be honest. When I said the order I was talking more about popoularity as individuals than couple with with Michael and Alex. To have the two mains (Max and Liz) and the most popular characters (Michael and Alex) in the front.

And I really do like the idea Chelle gave to have Isobel behind Michael and Max in the middle in the banner. To have the Pod Squad together too.

That is the reason I don't think Noah is really needed. As he "died" in the last episode of season 1. With Jesse it is hard, because he wasn't in lots of episodes the first season, but I do see him being more important than Noah now. I still think it is okay to leave him out the banner, but if the GT can and want to include him that will be fine too.

Yea where Noah thinking for sure no where with Jesse think should be a Yes more than a no

feel like he may be used more importantly come second season

by that little tidbit of a minor teaser

Related to Maria than maybe do the same thing

than Kyle too ....Maria smaller and behind Michael/Alex where her storyline is.connected to them

or feel it's too dangerous and touchy/feeling related to the triangle

We should add Rosa?

no promo poster by surely got to have promo episode with Rosa?
