There's this eerie feeling of deja vu - the same thing happened with the original series: built everyone up and then took it in a radically new, not-so-good/terrible direction (all sci-fi, all the time). I've not watched the episode, but I've been reading what everyone has said, which makes me not want to watch it. Building fans up to burn them is tiresome.
