I think they both just want their boys to be happy and that they ship the boys with happiness. I'm sure all their love ones want is for them to be in loving and healthy relationships that make them feel genuine happiness. Even if that means they aren't together, just because love is there, doesn't mean they should or could be together. Honestly I'm ok with them not being together so soon, they're on different pages and I think their love ones will see that too. Plus I think Kyle will be in support of Forrest because he's been a good guy for Alex so far.

I was thinking that the situation would only arise if both boys were single, made it repeatedly clear to their friends that they were still in love with each other and wanted to be together because of their cosmic love and they couldn't be without each other. But no one make the first move because of fear, complication, and each of them thinking they are passed each other. And their cosmic love is being ignored because they're a bunch of idjits and their love ones just get fed up about hearing how deeply in love with each other they are, how they are both single, but aren't making a move cause of reasons and decide to move the show on to the road. Because they just want Malex to be happy and because they're tired of seeing them talk their ears off about each other, but not do anything to fix the situation.

Also that seems like a CW type of writing move. I'm expecting more fluff angst scenes this coming season instead of just torture angst scenes like last season.

I hope their cosmic connection is brought up and they actually talk about it. Between each other and with other people.

Cause mostly it's just been, well we connected on a cosmic level and they haven't fleshed that out.

I think I just want their connection to be more then cosmic... like I want to see them actually like spending time together as adults. Obviously the love and attraction is there... but I want to see them talk and have fun as adults. That little bit we got in 2x04 was so good!!!

I want to see them do things that couples would do and talk about their favorite things like movies and food. For them to know each other as well as a they know each other with their cosmic connection.

And cute typical couple things like stealing food off each other plates. Or shared looks where they have conversations without speaking. Or them knowing each other looks like when they need to talk about something or when they are hangry.

Seriously the show really needs to use that intense chemistry, intimacy, passion that these two got going on. Cause if they don't use this lighting in a bottle, they're just idjits. Mainly I just miss the boys.

I don't think they plan on wasting the Malex chemistry at all... now with Carina gone, I imagine the 'gay torture porn' will be gone as well.

Yeah I don't think they will either, no one is that stupid that many times. Especially since the kind of couple that Malex are is the CW bread and butter.

I still want them to build it up though and not put the boys together right away. One they're not on the same page, so that doesn't really work. They both need to figure some things out and come to the same spot so that they can have a happy and healthy relationship.

And two how boring and lazy would that be if they were just suddenly together to fix Carina's mistakes and didn't iron some things out that need facing. Or after all that cr@p that they and we endured that we don't get to see a proper buildup and get some hack rush job.

Exactly. I doubt they will just throw them together. I imagine the first half of season 3 will be a nice build up for Malex and then in the second half they will finally be together
