This hiatus has been so long... I miss Malex so much They are one of the only couples on current tv that I actually ship.

Ok, I'm all for Alex and Forrest and Michael figuring some stuff out for himself in the first half of the season.

But I do want to see some looks of longing from both the boys. Where Michael sees Alex from across the way when he's with Forrest or one of his brothers. And Michael just has this wishful looks on his face. And then of course Alex looking over and seeing Michael with Isobel or something and he has this soft look.

Like Michael talking about Alex to Isobel or Liz.

And Alex talking about Michael to Kyle or Greg.

I mean one of the things I do remember CW being big on is talking something out instead of actually moving forward with the story. It's their way of stalling and amping up the drama. That was lacking, especially last season, probably cause Carina wanted the stories to go elsewhere and be all over the place.

Carina has said she is spiteful, the more fans want something, the more she pushed back against them. I feel like season 2 was just one big spite fic for her. I am hoping Liz becomes the focus again in season 3 and that they finally give Malex a chance at being happy together. The fact that Malex was the only couple that had to ‘earn’ their love still pisses me off to this day. Happy couples are not boring Carina, they only are if you can’t provide interesting drama between them that isn’t 90 cliche triangles or more gay torture porn! I am so glad she is gone.

I am definitely excited to see where Malex go in season 3. The last few episodes of season 2 were very hopeful where Malex is concerned.

Once again proving that she's really a 13 year old spoiled brat than a grown woman who wants to do best for her show. She talks a big talk about how woke she is and how progressive, but in reality she is just a petty, toxic, and small minded witch who wants people to dance to her tune. It's a good thing she's gone, I have no doubt that she was ruining the show because people weren't catering to her. And she rather watch it burn than people not kissing her ring.

But anyway, I'm sure that season three will be Malex heavy. For the simple reason that not only are they the strongest player and the most popular part of the show. And they are the kind of pairing that is the CW jam of couples they like to milk dry. And honestly if the show wants to make it to season four, they are gonna have to do a lot of damage control and really work to earn their viewers back. Like using the power of Malex to convince people to come back.
