Malex are the best thing about her show, and that is why she uses them the way she does. Most CW shows use their power couples like this. It is cliche and tropey, but it’s the hand we have been dealt. I have more issues with this fandom and it trying to erase Alex/Malex
 That early draft of the Pilot means nothing, Malex were there from the start as well. This fandom is just insane. That draft never happened which means Carina wanted the draft she ended up using. And I still love that Carina only accepted this job if they allowed her to do Malex. The triangle may have been planned from the beginning but that is not what transpired in the drafts they used. Who cares about that draft... scripts are always changing and being edited and what not. The draft changes nothing.. it just establishes that Carina really did want this triangle to seem more balanced... but it's not what happened on the show.. it's not canon. Who cares about it.. as for some fans using it as an excuse to erase Malex.. like dude, Malex was still happening from the start as well.. get a new party line
This fandom is messy as frack.Looking forward to those Malex scenes next episode  Keep feeding us that good content  Getting us all ready for this big Malex moment in the finale __________________

I remember Carina saying she had to fight for Malex in the start. I dont think the studio wanted it. I could be wrong.
