The Alien & The Airman

They grew up in the small town Roswell in New Mexico and sometime during high school they grew closer and they fell in love
with each other. But something happened during their graduation which made Alex leave Roswell and Michael behind. Ten years
later he went back and to his surprise Michael stayed in Roswell all these years. Seeing each other again all of their feelings they had
for each other when they were seventeen came back to the surface and it was impossible for them to stay away from each other.

Alex being the one taken to get to Michael was so telling. They could have taken Michael’s girlfriend, but the show had it be Alex. How can anyone deny the significance of that choice?!

I guess because a few fans aren't happy that Alex is Michael's main romantic ship in this re-iteration... who knows, frankly, and to be honest, who cares

Alex being the one taken and for that to motivate Michael enough that he actually builds a bomb that could kill his siblings, and his girlfriend.... the narrative speaks so loudly here

Michael's love for Alex is definitely a thing that will be used against him... everyone can see it... including their enemies.

Right like they could have had taken Marie but they know like we know that Alex is really the person in Michael heart no matter how many other people that Michael might have or had in his life Alex is and will always be the #1 person in Michael heart.
