I want to see them on screen and not like 5 seconds here and there. I want them to get the same amount screen time of all the m/f pairings. And get stories that aren't full of cliches and stereotypes.

Storywise I wish they had been paired sooner and that Alex had trouble being out out. Which Forrest supported and was there to help and be there to help Alex over that last hurdle.

True, but I was glad that they talked about things like PTSD, content, who they were as people, internalized homophobia, not hiding away because of bullies, actual things, even if it was like a second. Instead of just jumping them into bed together and forcing the relationship through.

I would had paired them together a lot sooner, like the sixth episode or the seventh. In my mind the horrible moment never happened. Because it was bs to everyone involved. Alex just moved on from Michael and asked Forrest out. But they could had Alex still dealing with his trauma from Jesse, where Forrest goes to hold his hand or kiss him in public and Alex balks. They still are together, but Forrest understands that Alex is still working through some stuff. He supports him and they talk about things, without Alex going too into detail about Michael. Then Alex could have still sung his song and then they kissed in public for the first time.

Yeah.. I am not sure how I wanted Forlex to come together. I wanted it to be organic, which I genuinely think it was, but I wanted more time spent on their overall arc. Alex asking Forrest out and taking him to paintball was cute, but then to have him withdraw and hide in his internalized homophobia was an odd choice for Carina to do. I understand why Alex would be uncomfortable in that situation, but we don't get enough about Alex and that particular arc to really grasp it...

I wanted it to be organic too, though CAM doesn't seem to be big on that with her pairings. I mainly wanted them to start earlier because it feels (to me) that they were more an afterthought, compared to all the other MlF pairings. Like they were tacked on and rushed towards the end, so that the show could use them as an obstacle for Malex like they had done with the other pairing.

Personally I always got the feeling with CAM, she wants to have Alex suffer in the most cliche ways possible. To show him overcome and go through the great hurdles that she forced on him. But I'm hoping that they won't make Alex and Forrest too cliche, stereotypical, and treat them with respect.

Carina does seem to be a fan of gay trauma porn. I just hope that season 3 is good to Forlex. She better not treat them as second rate.

I would love to see Forrest be brought into the fray (about aliens), and I also want him interacting with all of Alex' friends/family. And I want dates... cute dates for my cute gay babies!
