I'm not pissed off at Mark Ruffalo, who defended Jeremy Corbyn against accusations of antisemitism, never mind the fact that Corbyn said that "Zionists" (a clear case of using the word "Zionists" to mean Jews, a common practice in certain circles) don't understand British irony even if they've lived in Britain all their lives (the last part is a clear sign he's talking about an immigrant population, as in British Jews). This being the same Corbyn who approved of an antisemitic mural and runs a Labour party full of antisemitism scandals. About 85% of British Jews think Labour is antisemitic. So no, I'm not pissed off at all at Ruffalo for signing a letter saying Corbyn is being unfairly smeared as an antisemite, no not at all. And I don't think Mr Ruffalo should keep his nose out of business he doesn't have a clue about and of course I amn't now wondering about his own attitude towards Jews.

Footnote (not in lying mode): By referring to British Jews as an "immigrant population" I don't mean to imply they weren't born in Britain. A very large proportion of British Jews were born in Britain, but many of them have parents or grandparents who came from elsewhere and the primary ancestry of the majority of British Jews is from people who came to Britain within the past 150 years or so. Due to this, the racists don't believe that British Jews belong in Britain or are British. And these racists are found not only on the Right, but on the Left as well. With his comment about "Zionists" not understanding British irony, Corbyn is marking them as different, separate, and when you start talking like that about a minority, it's the first step towards taking action against them.
