That was the age I saw ROTJ. Not scary.

Really? I was 13 when ROTJ came out and the Rancor pit scene scared the piss out of me.

I have vore-phobia. Seeing people getting eaten alive freaks me out.
I'm posting this here as well, because it's relevant. I don't think that most of the prequels were consistent with the original trilogy because the storyline contradicts what Obi-Wan tells Luke in the original trilogy. In The Empire Strikes Back, Obi-Wan tells Luke that Yoda was his master, no mention of any Qui-Gon Jinn. Obi Wan also says in Return of the Jedi that he thought he could train Anakin just as well as Yoda, but how would he know if Qui-Gon was his master? Yoda: "Much anger in him... like his father." Obi-Wan: "Was I any different when you taught me?" Yoda: *to Luke* "You are reckless!" Obi-Wan: "So was I, if you'll remember." In Return of the Jedi, Obi-Wan also says that when he first knew Anakin he was already an "excellent pilot," but in The Phantom Menace, Anakin's only experience up to that point was with pod racers, which are no different than land speeders. Piloting involves being able to withstand G-forces and to control an aircraft's pitch, yaw, and roll, which pod racers don't do. And of course, a starfighter also has to navigate in space with zero gravity and no atmosphere, which Anakin also had no experience with growing up on Tattoine. If Anakin was a T-16 pilot doing runs in Beggar's Canyon like Luke in the original literature, that would be one thing, but that little kid Anakin has no real piloting experience. I never agreed with making Anakin that young in the first place. Also, C-3PO's memory may have been erased, but R2-D2's wasn't, and we're supposed to believe that he didn't know who Luke Skywalker was when he first met him? That last name would sound very familiar. Lots of plot discrepancies. And don't even get me started on the whole "midichlorians" thing. __________________

Revenge of the Sith was the worst Prequel. It was one of the worst films I've ever seen and I've seen Zardoz.

Yes, I know. And I know you also like Qui Gon Jinn.
But I just wish the prequels tried to be consistent with the continuity of the original trilogy instead of retconning the originals with Qui Gon, midichlorians, and a lot of Anakin's backstory. __________________

I wish they never made the prequels.

So do I. Lucas just had to go through with it, but the truth is that unlike the original trilogy, he really didn't have enough material for three movies. Attack of The Clones was mostly filler, and you could basically tell the entire story in one film using elements from The Phantom Menace and Revenge of The Sith.

I saw the behind the scenes footage that aired on TV when I was a kid, and it sure seemed like it.
