I think Black Friday got insane during the Cabbage Patch Kids madness of the 1980s.

I thought so too. I was only into Star Wars toys. I had a TIE Fighter model that was pretty cool.

Star Wars toys were great. But then so were Transformers, Gi Joe/Action Force, MASK, Supernaturals and the Visionaries. Not to mention Marvel's own Secret Wars action figures.

It's funny how action figures have conquered the mainstream. When I was a kid, only kids and only boys were interested in them.

OMG, now you're taking me back. I thought MASK were cool. Until I realized that the gull-wing doors on that flying car weren't very practical... you know, when flying.

The MASK figures were sculpted so well. They looked so lifelike. It was way ahead of most action figures at the time. And that's despite them being tiny. And their helmets, the "Masks", were cool.

Yep, I did like those.

So, is Rise of Skywalker going to be the cluster we think it will be?

Man, I really do wish the original trilogy could've been untouched.

Yeah! That's the worst thing Lucas did, worse than the Prequels.
