You do? I loved that one. That was one of my favorite Star Wars comics from the late 1970s. I miss those comics and that continuity.

Yes it was. I miss it.

Tribute to the powerful and underappreciated BTL-A4 Y-Wing starfighter.

Thanks. The Y-Wing deserves some love after Lucas made them look like chumps in the first movie. I know they may not have the rep that the X-Wing has because of Luke Skywalker, but the Y-Wing is better designed for space fighting. It's more lightweight, more heavily shielded, has more firepower and can serve as both a fighter and a bomber. The X-Wing does have an edge when it comes to flying in atmosphere.

That it is. If they had adapted the novel Splinter of the Mind's Eye into a movie as was originally proposed, Leia would've flown a Y-Wing alongside Luke's X-Wing.

Okay. I think it could've been improved. Or they could've adapted certain elements of that story to the screen, but added other stuff as well.

So do I, but I think Splinter could've been a nice interim episode, in between Star Wars and Empire.
