Crappy film. The original film was a work of art. The sequel was a shallow potboiler.

I agree. But the experience of working with Harrison on a Blade Runner movie had to be a big thing.

Nobody ever needed a Blade Runner sequel. Or a 4th or 5th Indy movie. Or a Star Wars sequel trilogy.

I think that's sad.

I grew up in the 1970s and 80s and I never needed sequels or remakes to know about older movies from the 1940s, 50s, and 60s.
