Well, what can I say... Disney destroyed Star Wars for me. It's been a source of real grief for me, and in a time whe the world isn't looking so happy in general -Trump, Brexit, etc. I still love the original films, but my connection to the franchise as a whole has been shattered. But I'll always love Harrison's work in the Han role. That will stand the test of the ages, no matter who shoots first or what later films do. He's the best.

He is the best And I'll forever be grateful we got to see him with Mark and Carrie again, especially considering it was the last time he got to be with Carrie.

I agree, but I kind of wish that had been done in a non-Star Wars film, so it didn't get caught up in the mess the new Star Wars films made. The new films really treated the original trio badly. There's so much prejudice against older actors (and characters) in Hollywood. Not to mention the wall of prejudice Carrie ran into when fans attacked her for having aged in 30 years. I'm really pissed off she had to deal with that at the end like that. Some people have serious hangups about older women, from Hollywood execs to Trump. I remember a documentary I watched a decade or so back called "Searching for Debra Winger", about Hollywood's prejudice against older actresses and how it drives them out of the business (Debra Winger is a great actress who seems to have vanished from our screens as a result of Hollywood prejudice against older actresses). And I see that in how Carrie was treated by both fans and Disney with regard to the new Star Wars. Where's all the action scenes they should have let her do after they'd made her lose weight like that? Leia should have been on Starkiller base to see Han die. Where's all the sassy comebacks Leia should have had? They really dropped the ball on portrayal of Leia. People are going to go around thinking Carrie was out of energy and that that's why Leia was subdued, but we know Carrie was so much more than that, right up to the end. It's just a pity they couldn't let her shine at her brightest.
But anyway, we're rather off topic. __________________

I doubt Carrie was ever out of energy, I remember Daisy saying Carrie would show up for work out with a diet coke and a cigarette and would do all of her routines
Yeah we're off topic, it happens __________________
