Yes they are.
 I'm fine. Damn acid reflux is a pain, but perhaps that's killing any germs that might try to make me sick?  I do need some Tums or Pepto Bismol. I don't like having a freaking volcano in my throat.  Hydrochloric acid feels like lava moving up and down. Maybe some seltzer water will help.I'm sorry, sum1.  I hope your American relatives are doing okay. __________________

Newsflash: Covid 19 depends on a membrane on it to infect people. Soap and water breaks down that membrane, neutralizing the virus.
