On other matters... I want to know what right Martin Scorsese, a director of zero Irish background, has to be directing a film called the Irishman? And let us please take note, an Irishman is a man from Ireland, not an American of Irish descent. And is Martin Scorsese obsessed with gangsters or what? Furthermore, Robert De Niro is one of the most overrated actors in history and Al Pacino isn't much better (I actually like Pacino sometimes). Joe Pesci I could never stick. Also, somebody should point out to Martin that the so-called Irishman the film is about was 6'4", so excuse me, but Robert De Niro falls a little short. And please stop using De Niro for every Irish role, Martin, he's only a quarter Irish. I won't be watching.

Further musings on Scorsese: I liked gangs of New York, though DiCaprio was not ethnically qualified to play an Irish American. I liked The Departed (aka The Defarted) even though DiCaprio... you know what I mean. I liked Bringing out the Dead. Nic Cage has always been the most talented of the Coppolas, even if he now chooses to waste his massive talent on crap films. I liked Shutter Island. DiCaprio actually did a good performance there. He manages that from time to time. It's not all Titanic. Taxi Driver was well enough made, but lacking humanity. Goodfellas... well made, but lacking a soul. Raging Bull... Raging Bull. They made De Niro's character into a caricature. The whole thing amounted to one of the worst films I've seen. Casino... that's the one where De Niro's car blows up. Don't remember it very well. I think he was playing a Jewish character there, something he's not at all qualified to do. Age of Innocence.... what I remember of it was good.

Mel Gibson did Braveheart, and I don't think he's Scottish. Steven Spielberg made The Color Purple. This stuff happens all the time.

I’m perfectly fine just doing the yardwork at the house as of now babysitting isn’t worth it especially with set of twin boys at 2.5 years old
