Yes! But, of course, there are people still complaining that she shouldn’t have been with Aladdin at the end and have gone off by herself to “see the world”... I’m not a fan of that because I love me some love stories & fairytale happy endings with the guy & girl falling in love and getting married. I find it so annoying when people think a strong woman means a single woman It's fine not to NEED a partner, but to want one and get one and be happy doesn't take away any power from a woman. When did love become the opposite of empowerment ? It's so twisted.

Ohmigosh! Thank you guys for agreeing with me! I totally feel the same way, obviously! I think people are starting to take the term “feminist” and make it completely about stepping over the men and degrading men in the process, but aren’t these the same women who are fighting for equality & equal rights? If you want to be treated with respect by men, you need to treat them with respect, as well. I don’t mean, succumbing to their advances, if they come on to you, or take advantage of you, but work alongside them, if they’re genuinely nice men, treating you with respect. I also think it’s great when the men can let the women be the breadwinner of the family and he gets to stay at home with the kids, etc., but there’s nothing wrong if the woman wants to do that. If I ever become a mom, I would love to be a stay-at-home mom/housewife and I think there’s more STRENGTH in that than anything else a woman does or can do these days.

I agree. It's supposed to be about what the woman WANTS to do, so if she wants to stay home and take care of the house, THAT is her empowerment. People think you need to be in a suit in an office to be empowered
