Nope. There’s a list of all the boards and we put our names under which boards we would be interested in (for example, I wouldn’t put my name down for Taylor Swift or The 100 or Riverdale because I have no interest in those categories), so when an MST is needed, the Managers look to see who would be available (i.e. not away, not at their max # of boards, etc.) and assign a board. With new boards, a sign up sheet is also given, and MSTs sign up if they show an interest in that board or don’t have plans to perm mod it (which we let them know if we do, so they don’t assign the board to us at any point before perm mods are assigned). For this board, me & Ana were the only ones who voulnteered, and for Shawn’s board, me & Julie were the only ones who volunteered, so we both got it. Even though I was already at my max of 5, Johnnie made an exception for me.
