I'm nervous - these 2 week breaks are always bad for a show. As if new shows already have a tough time getting viewers to keep tuning in.

I'm sick of reality shows doing so well - is that the only thing people watch these days?

The three days of delayed viewing turned out to be the show's biggest gain of the week as it grew 1.3 points from its initial 1.5 live + same day rating to a 2.8. This has helped 'Manifest' take over the No. 1 spot which was earlier claimed by 'This is Us' which once again scored the week’s biggest adults 18-49 gain, after growing the same 1.9 points as its previous episode, from an initial 2.3 live + same day rating to a 4.2 L+7 rating.

However, 'Manifest' still dominates the network in spite of coming second in the demo. It took the No. 1 spot in total viewers by drawing in an additional 7.38 million – bringing its L+7 audience to 14.85 million. 'Manifest' has been breaking all records for NBC ever since the show premiered on September 24. Within the first two days of the premiere of the first episode, the show had set new records for the channel adding +1.28 of a rating point in adults 18-49 and +4.9 million viewers overall. Following the second episode which aired on October 2, the show added a whopping 5.7 million viewers to its credit, after three days of playback.

There's no need to be pessimistic. The show is doing well and a drop after being off for a week is understandable too, people might have not realized it's back on.
