That tweet was actually where I got the last name from. IMDB and wikipedia both gave different names, and although my instinct was to go with IMDB, I decided to check official social media to see if it was there. Founf Saanvi's last name the same way.

Going by the trailer, I believe he's Michaela's boyfriend at the time the plane disappears, but also a detective.
