In S1, Mrs. Stones was very dynamic. She was unpredictable and a complex character. As a result most fans either hated her or loved her. Was she still seeing Danny or not? Was the baby Danny's or not? Was she going to have an argument with Ben or not? We never knew from one episode to the next.

Is S2, Mrs. Stone did a total "180." Danny just walked on in S2E1, never to be heard of again. (except for the "let's tell the press the baby is Danny's. Where did the writer come up with that scene?) Then the in S2E2, the baby is Ben's and Grace, for the rest of the season, is the basically the happy wife and mom, very predictable, and basically a boring recurring character.

I personally am a big fan of the character and the actor (Athena Karkanis).

In S3, something needs to be done about her character. I liked the old Grace. Just a suggestion but, I'd like to see a new love interest for her. Maybe not to the point of adultery but to the point that, she has a secret that she has to protect. If indeed it is a new love interest, I hope it is someone new. The Danny character is was too boring. Always agreeing. Always trying to be "too cool for school."

Your thoughts on what can be done with the Grace character in S3 that will make her more interesting and contribute in an exciting way in S3.

I’m not a fan of outside love interests for married women with children. But then I’m a huge fan of Grace in season 2 as well as Ben and Grace as a couple. I didn’t find her a boring recurring character at all. I loved she was involved directly in the mystery with the Callings as opposed to floating around outside the core of the mystery story as just a problem for Ben like the entire Danny storyline. But we’ll see what the writers have in store.

Grace is one of my favorite characters. I loved her journey in season one from outsider and doubter to full on believer and supporter of the callings. Her role greatly expanded in season 2 when she was no longer an outsider, but she became actively involved in the callings. The show doesn't have an official pick up for season 3. But, keeping an optimistic outlook that we will see the story continue, I am hoping to see Ben and Grace fighting side by side to protect their family. As long as there are outside threats to the Stone children, Ben and Grace will neither become boring or predictable.
