At this point there kind of has to be more questions than answers.
People are more resilient than you think. They wouldn't spend their time screaming and crying at all, most people would adapt because it's the only choice they have, very few would actually outwardly struggle, especially this soon. Cal's calling said the expiry date applies to them. It's not as if they just assumed because it happened to Griffin. The callings outright told them it applies to them. Quote:

I think it will be renewed...if not...CW is always looking for better shows.... Netflix would also pick it up |

It wouldn't up the stakes as much for Grace and Olive, but it would in a way that matters, and for Saanvi too.
I think a second season is probable but not so sure after that if people don't start watching live. The CW should be a non-starter, it'd be better off cancelled than anywhere near the CW. Netflix would work though. |

I am not convinced that Cal's predictions are inevitable. In fact, did he even predict the bizarre end to Griffin?
And given the fact that Zeke understood Cal better than Cal himself, I'm surprised the Major doesn't show concern about that. In any case, my concerns about the show remain. By the way, iscut clear that the other doctor knew that the psychologist was the Major? |

I don't think they'll turn out to be inevitable, but they seem that way right now to the Stones. Him not predicting Griffin isn't relevant, he's not going to know for every person on the planet.
The major doesn't know about Zeke as far as we know. |

OMG! That cliffhanger! They have an expiration date.. I hope this is something they can find a solution to. I'm glad everyone is aware of it now so they can stop wasting time and start living their lives. It's sad how Cal knew about it first and was trying to protect his family from finding out. Poor kid.
The way Griffin started vomiting all that water freaked me out. lol. But I was glad Zeke didn't shoot him. At first I thought it was karma for betraying his calling. Grace pregnant and the father is unknown! I think Ben will end up being the father though. Jared needs to cool it with his actions. I know he's worried for Mick but getting into a gun fight at her house is not what he should be doing. This show NEEDS to be renewed ASAP. __________________

Agree. Ben will be the father, but they'll be dragging it out for forever.

Is there a big rumor mill for the start of the second season? Is someone actually supposed to die (Jared vs Zeke) or just heavily injured?

I wouldn't be surprised if no one was even shot.

It's unlikely that they will. Zeke needs to die the way he would have in the cave, not by bullet, and I can't see them killing Jared off so soon.

The way Jared acted - I'd almost rather they get rid of him.
