Wow! Wow! Wow! Big cliffhangers all around! This show must get a 2nd season.

I gasped at every cliffhanger. The return has an expiration date. My heart sank when Olive and Ben figured it out.

Poor Saanv! So the doctor that suggested the therapist is a plant.

If Zeke is shot and dies Jared can cancel being with Mick in the foreseeable future. But I doubt he’s gone. He has a year to fix things and be a roadblock for the “destined” lovers. RME

The only thing I guessed was Grace’s pregnancy. But never expected her to get the WTD SL. So that rules out Lourdes being pregnant.

I was hoping Danny was gone for good, as I really cannot stand him. :( That said I am not surprised Grace is getting a Who’s the Daddy Story. She and Ben did jump back in bed rather early in his arrival home so it makes sense that was why the relationship was so rushed to be “normal” at first. And Ben and Grace were a little too happy last episode for it to last very long.

The scene with Griffin was unexpected and quite cool. I had thought Zeke was going to shoot him. And then the twist that it might not just be or even be at all because he abused the Callings. The expiration date idea intrigues me. I had wondered if it was going to be a Final Destination scenario, but I like this one better. It creates a sense of urgency in all of them of either living their best lives and appreciation their loved ones or acting selfish because it no longer matters. It will be interesting to see how knowing he only has a few years left will influence how Ben and Grace react to the baby storyline, especially if it is Danny’s. Or if it influences Mick and how she deals with Jared or if she tries to rebuild her relationship with Lourdes.

I guess Zeke’s main purpose next season will be to test that theory as he would be a year instead of 5 1/2. And how much will his and Michaela’s obvious bond become romantic? Presuming that he did not die when the gun went off.

And who was shot? Michaela by accident? Jared because he disrespected the Callings? Or Zeke who is already on borrowed time so he won’t be around to test the expiration date theory? I don’t think Mick will die. But assuming that one of the guys got shot, will they live? And if not, how does it affect the other person who killed someone by accident?

The PTSD storyline seemed to be at an odd time right at the finale, so I was glad to see it played out by getting the Major into the lives of the 828 passengers. And we have the blood marker becoming known so Saanvi, Ben and Mick have yet another worry.

The little scene between Olive and Grace where Olive admits to feeling left out and Grace agrees was nice. And I love that Olive finally feels like she and her Dad have something together. They were so cute coming up with the answer at the same time.

Me either. And after this finale I'm not feeling Jared much either. Between his handling of his marriage and overprotectiveness (which I do understand to a point) of Michaela I'm ready for him to be benched.

And immediately after coming up with the expiration date, Olive thinks of Cal. Both pair of Stone siblings is my happy place on this show.

I'm loving the Cal/Zeke bonding.

As for the expiration date, is it only on those who have the calling? They all don't have the calling right? And some of the passengers have already died.

I am not feeling Jared much either right now. I try to think he is just in a bad place and acting out. But the jealousy and not trusting Michaela is not a good look for him.

I feel sorry for Ben because he’s my fave and he had gotten so excited about the baby right after finding out he was going to die just to realize it might not be his and go back into despair. Josh played that conflicting emotion so well.

But I mainly feel sorry for Grace. She has chosen Ben now because she wanted to be with him and be partners and a family. And she was so happy last episode even with all the chaos, but now because of her actions when she thought he was dead, her ex that she chose not to be with may forever be in her life and possibly a threat to her family. And I no more think she should be with Danny even if she is pregnant with his child than I would think some guy should be with a woman who was pregnant when he is in love with someone else. Athena acted her heart out in showing how heartbroken she is that it is happening to her and she does not know for certain. I can see it being Danny’s for ultimate angst. And I would hate her feeling like she neeed to be with him for the baby’s sake, when she had already chosen Ben.

:thud: what a finale

I'm dreading for Danny's return. for real  I love that despite realizing the baby may not be his, Ben still hugged his wife.

now it'll be interesting to see them try to go on with their lives knowing their "expiration date" is looming.

the Major being Saanvi's therapist, I did not see that coming

i hope Zeke isn't dead. :look:

love how Olive and Ben almost simultaneously figured out the doomsdaY date. they are so much alike. I love that.

i think after these past episodes, Grace has shown that she wants to be with Ben. I doubt that will change with the baby thing.

Shouldn't Jared be looking for his wife? I get that he loves Mick but jealousy is an ugly ugly emotion. He has been hostile to Zeke since he met him.

i truly hope we get more seasons.

BlondieLeigh 02-19-2019 09:58 AM

I knew I couldn't trust Danny to be gone completely  Even if it isn't his, he'll be back for some period of time at least. It won't change anything for Grace but if that baby is Danny's then we're stuck with him :blank:

The major needs to go. I am worried about Saanvi.

I love how alike Olive and Ben are, and that moment where Olive was talking about how she felt like they were connecting was perfect.

Zeke still bores me, but now he annoys me on top of that. Turns out he actually was stupid enough to try and break into his mothers house as if that was ever anything but a terrible idea, and now he's pulling guns on cops

Jared needs to stop. I hate when someone has a good point but their motivation for bringing it up essentially makes it invalid because then I don't want them to be right.

MsDeme70 02-19-2019 10:59 AM

While ominous the major being Saanvi's therapist is a nice twist. It puts Saanvi in the center of the government part of the mystery and it's a very organic way to tell her backstory.

wickedrum 02-19-2019 02:58 PM

damn the cliffhanger!

BlondieLeigh 02-19-2019 04:13 PM

I don't think anyone will die, tbh.

obisgirl 02-19-2019 06:09 PM

This show seriously needs to be renewed. OMG, that cliffhanger.

So, there is an expiration date for the passengers, Grace is pregnant with Danny's kid and someone gets shot but we don't know who. At least Griffin's death served a purpose, to show Ben that they're not back forever. But it's like what, 2018 now in the show, so there's time to figure it all out.

I was not a fan of Jared's actions this episode.

BlondieLeigh 02-19-2019 06:15 PM

I think they'll figure it out, tbh, at least for the three of them.

Austenphile 02-19-2019 06:18 PM

Technically she does not know it’s Danny’s baby. She said “could be”. It’s likely because it’s more angst that way. But it’s a Who’s The Daddy at this point.
