I felt bad about his family situation. But I don't know if you can really blame the parents..cause it's a crazy situation.

Yeah especially with the dad being so religious. His mom was also so cold to him but I do give her credit for at least finding the school for MG. So she does care for his well being. I remember on TVD Caroline parents had a problem with her being a vampire the mom came around but her dad tortured her an everything. at the moment MG seems so broken hope he gets back to his old self.
