Things take a dark and twisted turn,
leaving Hope to confront one of her darkest fears;
Rafael's past comes back to haunt him.

The episode was ok.

I missed the twins in the episode.

Glad Raf got closure with his girlfriend.

Not surprised Hope got used by the necromancer.

MG could possibly be a ripper that was interesting.

And what's going on with Landon:eek:

I definitely missed the twins this episode also..half way in I realized there would be no twins and I was all :pout: ..but it made sense, Hope's story needed the focus it got.

Dang, they lost the knife already? Did they have like no security around it?

MG is a ripper now? He was only trying to get stronger to protect his friends..I really don't want him to be a ripper.

I got the feels when the Necromancer said "Your father did die with love in his heart and he never regrets his sacrifice... but he’ll only find peace when you do." Poor Hope.

I'm hoping Raf will get peace and closure now that he got his girlfriends forgiveness. When did she even get the knife though..did they show that? I must have missed it.

Right MG had to drink human blood at some point did he ever have a problem with it then?

No they never showed her taking the knife, just that flashback when the necromancer was explaining his plan.

Ohh okay, thanks :)

Maybe that was MG's first time drinking straight from a human? Not sure what triggers for a vampire to become a ripper. Dorian briefly gave Kaleb an explanation and when I heard it..I was like..oh dang, was Stefan all those things too?

And what did Dorian mean by the Salvatore family killing his family? I kinda stopped watching TVD after a while..so I don't remember that.

:lmao: it was pretty funny.

I know it has to do with them having impulse control and feeling a lot of remorse which is heighten with being a vampire. and MG being ADHD sure doesn't help.

During Stefan ripper phase he killed Dorian dad/sister... Dorian eventually figured it kidnapped Stefan shot him(while stefan was human) but ended changing his mind an saving him.

^ Thank you!! :)

wickedrum 12-14-2018 02:50 PM

they surprise me every time!

Alexa 12-14-2018 04:42 PM

right? Dorian said rippers were like ADHD impressionable horny people. That doesnt really sound like Stefan to me haha.

Episode was alright. I missed Josie and Penelope. I'm even starting to miss Landon. I love Hope and Raf but it was a bit of a blah episode. I found the villain really cheesey and over the top too.

I did like a bit of Dorian stuff. I also liked the Klaus mentions and how they implied that Alaric was like a father figure to Hope. I just love that interaction so much!

Honestly I didn't even noticed the twins not being in the episode until almost the end.

I was under the impression that turning your emotions off had to do with becoming a ripper.

So I just finished watching episode 1X07 of Legacies. And boy did they troll Originals 's fans. All throughout the episode they had the monster of the week ( the Necromancer) troll Hope by telling her her father was in the casket. He wasn't. Than he told Hope that Klaus was there ,and right behind her . Hope looked behind her......and the viewers did too. All hoping to see Klaus. He wasn't there. Klaus never appeared. But we did find out from the Necromancer that Klaus died with love in his heart. He never regreted his decision to sacrifice himself for her. Klaus said he loves her, and he will always be watching over her.

Alaric was annoying in this episode. He continued to compare Hope to Klaus. And while we all know Alaric hate Klaus, and have a good reason to. It's unfair to constantly talk about how horrible someone's parent in, and how they fear she might grow up just like them. I compared it to a divorced couple where the mom tells the son that his father is good for nothing bastard , and he going be just like him. It's borderline psychological abuse. So I was glad when Hope called Alaric out on how he cope with the lost of his love ones. I cheered when she pull out all those bottle of booze that Alaric drinks to cope.

Hope only killed one person. Alaric act like she killed a lot of people. The Vampire she killed do not count, since they were vampires out to kill her.

MG's real name is Melton . I never figure him for a ripper. Kaleb teaching MG how to eat seems to indicate that MG is a newly turned vampire. I loved the Damon reference " snatch, eat and erased ", and Dorin reference to MY being a ripper like Stefan.

However Kaleb is right about them needing real blood. I do not know why Alaric do not ask Rebecca/Marcel to ask one of his vampire friends to bring them some blood bags?

Ref has a jealous temper. Maybe Lizzie is better off without him. Does anyone else thing that Landon might be behind the Malivore?

It did occur to me but I didn’t really miss them. Much more attached to Hope and Alaric

I think people need to lower their expectations mAJORLY over seeing past characters/actors. Sounds like most dont want to be part of it.

I found it odd that MG had never fed before? So he was only feeding from blood bags or humans? That doesnt seem healthy. They need way more teachers at the school to help the students...

Also, I too dont like how Alaric talks to Hope sometimes. She's just a kid and he puts too many expectations on her.

They don't have blood bags at the school. They vampires are all force to live on the Stefan diet. Which is not really healthy. Even Stefan allowed himself a blood bag once in a while. I think Alaric should ask Caroline for a few blood bags for the students.

I love the shout out to Damon , and Stefan. I wonder how MG was turned if he never fed from a human?

I totally don't like the way Alaric talks to Hope some times. I mean we get it. Alaric has major issues with Klaus. Klaus is evil. Everyone knows Klaus is evil. But I do not think Alaric should constantly compare Hope to Klaus every time she makes a mistake. Not should he constantly be putting down Klaus to Hope. It's rude . Especially considering that Hope loved both her parents, and she lost them both.

wickedrum 12-16-2018 08:48 AM

if all are on the Stefan diet, there will be more problems than just with MG. Or because they're not strong enough.
