Insomnia

Been there before. I'm about to head to sleep soon... hopefully I can get to sleep... was feeling more tired earlier and didn't nap, now I'm more awake... maybe once I lie down it'll come.

Insomnia is evil... as is not feeling tired when you need to go to bed. I had that a bit earlier this week as the clocks changed for the start of daylight savings so my body felt like I was trying to go to bed an hour earlier so didn't want to fall asleep then

another tonight as it's 514am but was more so slept for like an hour but was having messed up dreams so off to try again after being up for like 2 hours

Well sleep was messed up last night but hope to fix it tonight slept maybe an hour during the night than slept like 7am-3pm

Another night maybe just slept like 3-4 hours and that was after going to bed like 2am

I had a hard time sleeping, tried to go to bed early but that didn't work ended up getting up a few hours later and going online for a bit, then going back to bed and having a little better time falling asleep, though it still took a bit.

Have you tried anything to help you sleep Sarah? Even a familiar routine of going to bed following a routine & at a set time? Ensuring your environment helps sleep?

hmm I distracted myself posting on here & doing coursework that it somehow got to about ten to 9 & I still haven't had breakfast or made my lunch for work... my bus comes at around 9.15/9.20 so guess I should get a move on (I can catch a later bus at least as I don't start work until 10am & it only takes around 10-15 minutes for me to get to work, but prefer the earlier one)

I have medication and very aware of set bed time plus wake time my family doctor kept that as suggestion whenever complained of sleepless nights. Seemed my occasional insomnia from first 30 yrs got kicked full gear from antidepressant meds. Took the hospital specialist within a 30 mins intake to get insomnia medication after complaining to doctor for few months

Earlier is always a safer beat for public transit
