me to atm nothing , had to give 2 days away for work , which i feel guilty cause i never really call in sick , but this is serious .

Don't feel guilty You have to do it, its better to be tested. At least its just the two days. I've had co-workers wait 4 days for their results (& one had to call them to chase it up)

Oh dear. That's not good At least its not where you live but still being where you work isn't nice. Stay safe

yeah I know I just feel bad I'm not use to it lol . But yeah my work working has always been an issue but I like the change of pace until I finish my studying

No. But it came back with a vengeance I think. You started off with a small about & then suddenly the cases all jumped back up again. I'm presuming either lots of people came back into the country all in that area, or people aren't isolating properly

yep i say it is both , people are idiots here and i feel they can't handle the idea of it being that bad or harmful. it sucks but i feel we should of been in lockdown sooner rather than later

Yeah I agree, did seem to take them a bit to lock down the state. Not sure about the hotspots but I did see they were locked down first? The numbers are rising way too quickly so they should've acted sooner but at least they seem to be acting now. Hopefully it helps to contain the spread & the numbers start going back down soon


The transport system here decided it was a good idea to adjust the fare prices for public transport. So if you catch public transport in peak times you now pay more, while if you catch it in off-peak times you pay less than it used to be. I would love to give them a piece of my mind about that decision . I don't choose to catch the bus to work, I can't drive & the government has basically said that childcare is an essential service so my work never closed & I can't do my work from home. I have to go to work & my shifts can't magically change to off-peak times. If it was only a couple of cents more it wouldn't matter to me so much but its almost an entire $1 more than I used to pay - works out at $1.88 per day more since I have to go to & from work. Its disgusting. Worse for front line workers if this is the thanks they're getting if they have to travel during peak times to provide an essential service.

Yeah the hotspots was a smart idea for Melbourne lots of suburbs were in lockdown first my one wasn't but the place I worked at was now we are all in lockdown which is better.

Wow i didn't know they did that how annoying , why would they do that?

Its awful it had to come to the lockdown but it is good that you've all got it now. Hopefully it'll help put a stop to the spread & the number of cases there can go back down . With the lockdown do you still have to go to work or are they going to close the store?


Its to try to get more people to catch public transport during off-peak times unless you've got not choice, but its a bit inconsiderate for those of us who have to catch then

I hope Melbourne gets better but I doubt it ... work still go in we are considered a essential service, some times I feel 2e shouldn't be open but people do need it for their sanity. But i honestly feel we should be a 5 day thing not 7 days just to less the exposure.

The public thing is silly and it is very risky you can't choose when you go i to work or not .

I get it but I don't get it too. They could still be running but not let customers come into stores. Surely they can just make it online based? Or limit the opening hours as you said. Encourage people to shop online but they'll be open short days during the week & half days weekends or only Saturday or something . But then a lot of staff out of work or with less work until they open back up properly so I guess they're saving all of your jobs this way. Seems like a big risk to all of you though
