Charmed (CW) - Moderator Opening Announcement - Possible Closure

We currently have two open moderator positions on this message board. If you become a moderator here, you'll be joining a great community who'll provide you a support network and add to the fun of being a moderator. If you'd like to apply for this position and if you have any questions about the requirements, please go to the Moderator Application Process - How to Apply & Questions Answered thread and follow the instructions to apply to be a moderator on this board.

Please note that the deadline to get applications in is 6:00 PM GMT on April 8th. If you don't receive a confirmation Private Message within 24 hours after you have emailed your application, please send a Private Message to Cátia.

Please note the following: If no qualified candidates apply to moderate this board, it will be closed. Every board here needs permanent moderators, and we can't have Moderator Support Team Members moderating any board indefinitely. Therefore, if no qualified candidates apply to moderate this board by the application deadline date, a closure notice will be posted on the board the Sunday following the application deadline date, and the board will be closed one week from when the closure notice is posted.

If the people that post on this board want it to remain here, then someone needs to step up and apply to moderate it.

Oh wow Chelle :thud: but understandable :hug: I know I still only saw the first season :hug: no idea how the show/board is doing

For the past few months this board has been struggling. We've never had a high post count, but lately most weekly counts have been below or barely been meeting the minimum or I've had to ask for help so that we do. As I'm sure everyone knows, Fan Forum requires that we average at least 12 posts per day. We've been very lucky that the post count requirements are currently suspended & somehow we manage to just be making the minimum throughout the month. However I can't help but question how long that luck is going to last. I was hoping that it was simply the long hiatus, along with covid, but even with the new season starting our post counts each week are remaining low. In order to keep this board going we need the commitment of a few regular & dedicated posters who are going to post for the long term. Not simply to save the board as then we'll only return to this position.

Right now I have been in & out as I try finding a new job & moving which means that I may not always be able to dedicate the time to this board & ensuring that it meets the post count requirements each week. It also means that it may be a few days before I see episodes so I can't always contribute to conversations about them straight away. This board deserves to have a moderator who is able to dedicate more of their time to it. I'm happy to stay on if people want this board around still, but we at least need posts, if not a second moderator here.

Please let me know what you think, & any suggestions or advice you may have to renew interest here.

I will try and post more to help out.. and since I love this show anyway. :hug:

I do hope you're doing well too. And if I think of anything like suggestions or whatever else I will surely let you know :D

I completely understand :nod: I can try and help more with posting. I am not sure if it will be enough to ultimately change things here, but I definitely have liked stopping by recently so will continue to do so.

but we do need more fans :(

Every little bit helps :group_hug: I don't want to see the board close & love having the place to discuss the show & even fangirl over the original a bit too. But I also don't like to see the board suffering either

I strongly encourage anyone who is considering it to apply. It is an easy board to mod, its mostly just bringing over any news & ensuring that the board gets 12 posts a day. I'm happy to stay on as a mod here so you won't be a solo mod.
