Episode Summary
While on the hunt for Jada, Mel scours The Book of Shadows as Harry and Charity
cross reference them to find any clues that might lead them to this new demon. As
if that isn't enough, they discover that there is a Changeling Demon on the loose that
puts one of the sisters in danger. Elsewhere, Maggie signs up for a job helping to market
a new dating app which could land her a summer internship. Macy decides to go outside
her comfort zone after a little encouragement from Maggie. Meanwhile, Mel is given a
task by The Elders that she was not expecting.

I was wondering if that'd be the case as the synopsis sounds good. Still have to wait a few days to watch it myself but may have to watch it as soon as I get home from work on Wednesday now that I've read that its a good one

Maggie I don't think you can go to Chicago for the Summer & be a Charmed one - think your responsibilities will come first

Sounds like they're trying to make Parker more of a demon in order to save him?

Or at least its going to cost Maggie to save him

Teleporting people affecting Harry seems bad

I don't think I like that change from the original

Half-witch/half-whitelighter exists & is still an abomination. Interesting. Also like how they had her teleportation power seeming to be changed based on her electricity magic - opposite to how Paige's telekinesis was changed due to her whitelighter side. Glad Jada's not a demon given how she may be potentially a love interest for Mel. Don't need two demon partners

Elders are more & more seeing evil & untrustworthy

So Harry was acting weird last time Charity was here because they've been together before? Don't know that this really fits from his behaviour but ok then. tbh I think elder/whitelighter relationship should be more forbidden than witch/whitelighter

Cicadas? Wonderful

. Don't think I can look at them the same way again... & I see them a lot at work or at least hear about them as the children are now fascinated by them since they found a few in the yard

I skimmed an article about how this episode deals with sexual assault while never actually mentioning it. I find that interesting - especially given how much things like 'you can say no' were mentioned in the pilot. On the other hand I'm not sure how it could've been worked into the lines either
