Hmm, that is a tough question, Mandi. I don't think you can directly load a movie into animation shop... so, you could use multiple caps from a site, or screencap the movie yourself.

Tina, I figured it out. You can load .mpg video file into Animation shop and it makes it's own caps/frames things.

Awesome! I'm glad you got it figured out! Have you made a mini movie yet?

Well, when you get the chance, put it at the icons thread.

I always use imagerab to get frames from videos and then import them into image ready, but don't know if you can do that in animation shop too.

I have a quick question. Other than sharpening, how can I clarify a blurry image? (I'm using PSP7 for what it's worth. And the image itself is a bit blurry; the blurriness isn't due to resizing or anything.)

Thanks!

BabyJ: I think sharpen is the only way to go.
How blurry is this image?

Yeah, I assumed as much. Oh well. I can just shrink the photo; it's not too bad. Thanks anyway.

I'm sorry I wasn't a big help! I hope everything turns out well.

Did you try maybe an overlay duplicate on top? Or noise reduction or skin smoothing?

If you'd like, you can post the image here and we can see what we can do. It all depends on the original image quality

I always have that problem too with my caps, if I shrink them they look good but otherwish they look blurry and sharpen makes the quality look bad

Also, with animated icons, mine always come out looking grainy but it's just how my caps save with gif, I use noise removal etc. but it still comes out grainy .. I'll find an example hold on ..

Ugh

Courtz: Cute icon!!! I wonder, perhaps your icon is turning out grainy like that because it's not on the maxium qaulity setting (perhaps you have it set on low or meduim)?

Hmm, I'm not sure, I'll check that later Tina Thanks.

Also, how can you make it fade from the last cap back to the first again? If that makes sense

I don't know what program you used... but I use PSP Animation Shop 3. In this program there are special effects where you can fade into one frame to another. And beside, it automatically loops over again from the last to first frame of the icon on the preview button and web.

I hope I understood you correctly.
