My kids are 8, 7 & 6.
The kids I babysit are 4 & 1 (,5).

So yesterday I took 4 of them to the Zoo, Oldest Son stayed with his Dad for quality time




My babysitting work is divided up in 4-week shifts.
Every 4 weeks I can have a maximum of 128 hours. The parents and I decided together that we'd go for a minimum of 120 hours at least every 4 weeks.

But now I went on vacation for 2 weeks. Which happened to fall in it's entirety in a 4-week shift. So I didn't work for 2 full weeks.
Meaning I'd only have 64 hours. Which was totally fine, I mean, I can't expect them to give me the 120 hours if I leave for 2 weeks
But to help me out a bit more, the parents asked if I'd like to work some extra hours.
So this past week and next week I'll have the kids for 3 full days (8 hours) instead of the normal 2 days a week.
(during vacation time, I do 2 days instead of 3, because normally their oldest would be in school as well).
And this Monday they had a lot of hospital appointments for the mom. So Monday I had them for 10 hours. Wednesday the normal 8. And yesterday I had them for 11,5 hours because I took them to the Zoo.

Which is great for the hours! Meaning I get paid more But exhausting as heck.

oh wow Paula...that is pretty cool.... you are one busy mom with three kids and it will all be rewarding when they are grown up and they can help you and your hubby out

Ohh it's nice that there isn't much age difference between your kids, Paula! It's easier for them to get along.
You are a super-mom!! Specially having to take care of even younger kids as your daily job
That's a lot of work...but keep your mind on the money and it will be worth the exhaustion
