 i think it's very possible... I don't see it ending anytime soon... My guess is even if Ellen quits, Shonda will find a way to bring another Grey to the mix __________________

on occassion they can be brought back...but it doesn't happen often

Yeah... also, when they write off a character, it usually becomes the eye rolling storyline when they decide to bring said character back... I personally don't think it works all that often
