If you don’t know, The Motorcycle Diaries is a Spanish film about “Che” Guevara before he was “Che.” It chronicles a road trip through South America that he took with a friend, and it’s absolutely <i>fantastic</i>. Completely incredible. A must see, even if you don’t like subtitles, or “Che.”
So yeah. I tried to capture his journey in this piece, and am actually pleased with the results. PICS: Google image search STOCK PICS/TEXTURES: Thia, tere, Vered BRUSHES: Tere, roshiweb, AVH FONTS: Times New Roman, Will and Grace QUOTES: The quote in small font is in the movie, and was taken from actually journal entries by “Che.” The large one is paraphrased from the movie, I;m not sure if it was taken from the journals too. Rejecting Reality: Gorgeous wps, all of them. I esp. like the 2nd spider-man one. The composition is excellent with his face the main image in the middle and the text boxes off to the side. Excellent.
Nerwen...: Love the text and texture, very nice. TrishaLyn17: Nice The Notebook collage, I esp. like the middle, how "The Notebook" fades into the black bg. Rachel: Beautiful PD2 art! I love the dotted lines with the rounded rectangles and it's very colorful and sparkle-y. ~-Sarah-~: Very nice. I love the cap you used for the top right, it's beautiful and works well with the dark look. Agnes Bean: Beautifully done! I've never seen the movie, but I love the old, aged look and the typography and composition are excellent as usual. I love the jersey girl piece, i wanted to see that but never got around to it. Thank god there's netflix.
