So I've been struggling to find an image host since Imageshack started charging. I resulted in using Photobucket but it makes your images LQ after 7 days and I was wondering:

What image host do you use and why? Need ideas?

+ What are the benefits?
+ Can you upload into folders?
+ Is it quick and easy?
+ Can you multi upload?
+ How many variations do you get? (thuminal, direct link, forum link)

My favorite was Imageshack, but my free time for it went out last week so I'm also using Imgur now. Took some time for me to get use to it, but I love that you can make albums for it and you can upload all the icons at the same time

Img Url is what I used but it sometimes goes down so if so, I resort to photobucket to have a safe place for them. Flickr is good for photography and bulk images

I used ImageShack but now most likely I will move to Imgur for anything I do not want the quality to be reduced on. Most things I just upload on Photobucket though because I do not mind/pay attention if they quality is reduced and I find it easy to use . Sometimes when the quality looked awful on ImageShack or Photobucket I used TinyPic as it was usually good at having better quality than them.

Imageshack has probably lost a lot of volume since moving to this paying tactic. It sucks!

Most likely. I do not believe that it is that expensive but not everyone wants to or can pay to have to upload their images, especially when there are other free sites out there.

The problem with tinypic is you have to upload individually though. It doesn't work for me when I upload images by bulk for a fanclub I run Imageshack was very organised until they started charging.

This, ugh. I really hate that they started charging, I hope that soon they give up on that. It's not like we don't have other options.

I really loved Imageshack, but now I'm using Imgur too.

I hate Tinypic, that site screws up too much (a lot images end up for getting deleted or show up as something else, wth?) and it doesn't even let me open links when I'm using Chrome as a browser. I always have to open Firefox to do that and it's really annoying.

I think I am going to try Imgur. I like tiny pic, but I don't like how I can only upload one file at a time. I usually use photo bucket, but it's not my favorite. :/

I upload my icons on my Livejournal Scrapbook because sometimes, I find that the other sites lower the image quality a bit.
