If anyone is curious about any part of the graphics team process I strongly recommend signing up for a mentor who can answer any question you have (graphics team-related). There are no commitments to join the team, or time restrictions or commitments over making graphics. You don't even have to make a graphic if you don't want to, you can just learn about the process & see if you may be interested at some point. Or you may wish to try your hand at making a
 -style graphic & get some feedback from someone who is on the team. No need to join the team, you'd just get feedback, & you can leave it at thatThen, totally using Sarah as example here (sorry), but she signed up for a mentor back when this first started & she makes graphics when she has time & muse, PMs me for feedback, ect. She can go months without PMing me anything & then turn around & PM me something more & I'll be there for her still. That's what this program is here for, to help you on your terms & in your time. Really if you have thought about joining the team but aren't sure if you have the time for it this mentoring program is perfect for you as it gives you the chance to see what is required of you without joining the team. Your mentor can guide you on the process, give you suggestions & feedback, & allow you time to attempt to make two graphics in the roughly two week period to see if you can do it Also if there are any artists around (or outside if you want to get them to join ) that you know of who may be interested in this, or you think may be a good addition to the team please point them in the direction of this thread or let one of the GT managers know & we can approach them & see if they're interested in signing up for a mentor &/or joining the team  __________________

I did PM back and forth a lot with Mel and have just been working on things, will definitely PM more work soon for tips and what not! |

I know Mel's also been limited on
the last few days too (which was why I took over Standard Avatars for her) so probably worked out well if you've been working on things. But as I said with my Sarah example, there's no rush on things & you can PM Mel whenever you have time & want her feedback on something. Of course as a former member of the team you possibly already have an idea on how things work & how to do the graphics which may help you a little. Hope you're enjoying your mentoring If any of you want to provide us with feedback on the mentoring please do (via PM to one of the GT Managers) as it may help us help you __________________
